Sarah Morgan is the Editorial Director of ECG.
Sarah has worked extensively in the pharmaceutical and general business industries, writing and/or editing articles on communicating effectively, finance, and employee benefits. She began her work in the pharmaceutical industry assessing the rhetorical effectiveness of reports and New Drug Applications as well as leading workshops in Scientific Thinking and Writing. She has also assisted clients in discovering, planning, and developing strategic messages for product monographs, position papers, annual reports, briefing documents, and responses to Health Authority questions.
Her experience in written business communication also includes training clients to prototype documents in order to emphasize major messages, to use e-mail more effectively by using it more purposefully, and to apply audience-centered principles in writing of all types.
Before joining ECG, Sarah taught writing and related subjects at colleges in the South, Midwest, and Northeast. She has co-authored several textbooks on rhetoric, including Circles of Influence (Allyn & Bacon), and served as editor on others. She holds a B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.A. from the University of North Texas.
